Some of our favourite days in life have been spent exploring fishing villages, hidden coves and beaches and listening to the waves lap against the shore. There are many coastal villages, coastlines and seascapes that we love exploring, and we also have many favourite places to eat fish and chips, have afternoon tea and enjoy great pub grub, so we decided to combine them into a wonderful coastal adventure! There are so many amazing places to see and visit in Ireland, but we wanted this tour to be all about the water. The Irish Sea, the Celtic Sea, the Wild Atlantic and all of the smaller bodies of water to include Loughs, Rivers, Bays, Springs and Inlets. Yes, take us to the water, let us play in the sea and we will be happy!

What differentiates Adventures with Shannon and Mario from Scottish Dream Tours?
Scottish Dream Tours is such a small company that we need a minimum number of people on each tour. Because we conduct each tour ourselves, we are only able to offer a limited number of tours and tour spots on each tour and to make a profit we need to meet that minimum. With Adventures with Shannon and Mario, we don't have to worry about making a profit. The goal is to just break even no matter how many people we have on the tour, so there is no minimum. When breaking even is the goal, we can just sit back and relax while having an epic adventure with a group of like minded traveling companions! It is a win win situation for us and for those traveling with us.
Over the last few years, Mario and I have talked about booking a few group tours after we retire. These will be tours to places we really want to go to that are either new for us or a place we have longed to return to, but think they would be more fun with a group. We have chosen the itinerary, the accommodations, sightseeing and extras so that it all comes together as one package deal for you. We will have a private company that will do all the driving and will be responsible for getting to where we need to be when we need to be there. They will be open to people who have traveled with us before and other intrepid travelers who are looking for specialized adventures. Each tour will only consist of our group with a private guides and all excursions included.
We have decided that our first trip will be to India in March of 2028.
We chose March because we would like to start the tour off with the
Festival of Colors that happens each year in March. Things we hope
to include are a six night on the Maharaja Express Luxury train taking
in the Taj Mahal at Sunrise, Pink City of Jaipur Tour, Jodhpur's
Mehrangarh Fort and search for Tigers in Ranthambhore National
Park, a Tea Plantation, a Cooking Class or two and other sightseeing.

Eastern Norway with its Capital City Oslo and a wealth of
amazing things for you to see and do with lots of beautiful
nature also on show including the nation’s largest national
park in Hardangervidda as well as glorious countryside.
